Difficulty: Intermediate/Advanced. Workload: Medium. Suggested duration: 5 weeks. If you follow our suggested duration of five weeks, get ready to invest about 5-40 minutes per day in your training. But remember, you can always go through this intensive on your own paste. Five weeks is just a suggested structure. GUEST TEACHER Shahrzad will teach us an intricate double leg shimmy! This shimmy is an advanced movement in belly dancing and there are only a handful of dancers who actually know and perform it. Even though this shimmy is not essential, it is a very cool trick to have in your vocabulary. Get ready that it most likely will take you way longer than five weeks to actually master the movement. But during this 5-week intensive you'll gain understanding and tools for your further practice. This intensive consists of: 1. Masterclass with Shahrzad: theory and practice. 2. Several 20-min drills with Iana appropriate for different stages of your practice. 3. Suggested 4-min exercises for your daily practice which will be the key to achieve success in this movement. 4. Several short lectures to boost your motivation, focus mindset and help you overcome the frustration of the learning process.
